Get creative with it. It’s important to first learn dibbling fundamentals. Fundamentals are key to your success. But, at the same time have some fun with it. Try to imitate all the tricks. Try the super slow cross over. Try the roll on the ground reverse. Try the one handed around the back between the leg. Spend some time to learn how to spin the ball on your finger. Practice the in and out between the leg with one hand.
Some of these tricks might not apply in the game, and you definitely don’t want to be a show-boater, but they help you get a better feel for the ball. And heck maybe you will have a loose ball behind your back and will need to quickly tip it between your legs. You never know!
